| The Yang group is an active research team of talented professionals, including postdocs and graduates, led by Prof. Dengtao Yang in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Northwestern Polytechnical University since September 2020. The group is pursuing new reactions to create new structures with the aid of theoretical computation/machine learning, with particular emphasis on the discovery of novel organic materials for applications in electronics and biological systems. We have solid background in boron chemistry, photochemistry and photophysics, electrochemistry, luminescent materials, organic synthesis, as well as computational chemistry/machine learning. As such, the Yang group is involved in several multidisciplinary collaborations around the globe with mutual international exchange opportunities available for both students and visiting scholars.
